This is my favorite! I love new and exciting ideas about hair. I was able to go to the Schwarzkopf Hair Show today. It always pumps me up to learn new techniques for razors and cuts as well as my favorite-- color!! I can't wait to try some of the cuts as well as this line of color.
The above team is Oscar and Wendy Bond. They have an amazing salon out of New York and teach all over the country. He specializes in cuts while she specializes in color. Very cool for a husband wife team. They were very down to earth and fun to learn from. They represent L'anza Healing Color which has come a long way.
One of the other platform artists was an interesting stylist for Schwarzkopf. He worked on one of my clients who was a model. His technique was defined and purposeful but lacked sincerity. She looked great after getting some cool "veil, drapes, and curtain" highlights, but she is coming in tomorrow because she is not comfortable with the overall effect of the copper explosion on her head! I can't wait to see it up close.
I also loved the Eufora platform artist. She did some awesome razor cuts that really rocked! Razor cuts are so unique, they add so much movement to a cut. She used an old school straight razor and I haven't seen one of those since beauty school days.
The Nexxus platform went totally 80's. The runway and styles both had a touch of edgy color and some style of days gone by. He did an different long layered disconnected cut that I am not sure the average client would go for, but I am going to try this one.
Sexy Hair did a loud runway display with an entertainment focus but it was still captivating. I love the whole line of products for maximum volume from Sexy.
It was a fun day and I enjoyed getting to be in an atmosphere with others who love this industry as much as I do. There is nothing better than making another person look as beautiful as they can be. It is the reason I love what I do and am so privileged to have such wonderful clients!!

Good to see you have so many new ideas. You can try them out on me this week when you do my hair. Im not really sure of what I want so you can go wild with cut and color. Worse case we can just shave my head. It will grow back!!
Hi beautiful!
Have fun with the new styles.
I'm keeping my boring old long hair. "You can't touch this!"
God uses you to bless me, He's so awesome! Love, Tina
i'm feeling inspired to have you color my hair- or at least my roots are =)!i will be calling you soon....
You know, I'm so impressed that you still get as excited learning new stuff today as you did when you were first learning and I was your hair model! Glad that you don't try to convince me to dye my hair plum anymore, though!
Love, Shaunie
How fun. You are too cute Yvonne. Here is that girl's hair that I wanted to show you.
