I had a fabulous weekend with my friends!! We hiked together (I will post those pictures later) cooked together, laughed a ton, and just plain talked as only girls can do. I was blessed as they each shared a special verse with me (except the Prov 19:13b)that meant a lot to them and why. There is nothing better than God's word being the focus of a friendship. Each one was different and revealed the sincerity of their hearts. I will treasure them forever (especially because they made a coffee cup and wrote them all down for me to see every morning) and it was a highlight of the trip for me.

As I looked around that room, I was so amazed to see how God works so intricately at allowing different personalities to compliment each other. There is sweetness, kindness, tenderhearted, and of course just dang funniness!! That we can laugh at ourselves and each other is such a gift from Him.

I had a great trip and even though I am 40 now, I will not let that stop me from growing in my friendships, working my body physically and walking through the journey that brings me closer to my Savior. A big thanks to my honey who took care of the kids and all the details so this trip would be possible.
