How to Vote...

I found this link that I thought was very thought provoking. As the days before the election are dwindling down, so many different views, even in the Christian community arise, making our choices interesting.

Although it is long, I think it is worth considering. I love that he states "This world we live in is not the most important thing, but a stage to show the world that Christ is our God and He is more precious than the world."

I have found myself in frustration as both of the candidates seem to promise a 'savior mentality', each thinking they are the answer to our economy, health care, and environment troubles. What I know, is a bigger God than government and it is in Him that I truly put my trust.

My attitude this coming Tuesday has me convinced that I need to meditate on His Word- "If my people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
