Levi and his Fear Factor Birthday Party

Levi had an awesome 9th birthday! As each boy arrived they received either a blue buff or a red buff. We split them into teams for the fun! First up: name that body part, with your eyes closed. A relay race that was first team finished, was the team that won. Second up: Diaper diving and testing, need I say more? Third up: Cricket groping. The two teams had to reach in to a jar with money on the bottom and three dozen live crickets inside. The first team to have each boy get a dollar out in change would win. This was the toughest task for the boys, they were VERY squeamish!

Last game: A maze that Scott had built with multiple tasks inside. They had to reach inside of a five gallon bucket full of blood (spagetti sauce) and get three rats (plastic) out, head through the maze, find three coins in another five gallon bucket full of pus (vanilla pudding), while water sprayed them. In the next room of the maze they had to pop three balloons above them that contained flour in each one, followed by a last water spray. We had put them in goggles and ponchos, but the mess of each boy was hysterical! This was the highlight of the night, there were 17 boys who all wanted to go through the maze again! They were laughing and scared all at the same time. Some had to have a change of clothes they were so wet and floured!

They loved the menu: booger sticks (pretzels with green cheese), spiders and cheese puffs, pizza with body parts hidden under the cheese, eye-stain lemonade, and the cake. The cake was a huge hit, it was kitty litter fun. The turds were melted and molded tootsie rolls and each of the boys wanted turds in their piece. It looked just like kitty litter and I had purchased a new box, complete with kitty scoop to dish it up with.

This was such a fun party, the boys loved it! I think they had a blast just hanging together playing football, tag, and capture the flag. Scott did an amazing job at building the maze, complete with sprinkler system and flour tower! Carlyle, Tina and Michelle C. came over to watch, they had no idea they would be helping. We really needed their help and could not have done it without them!

HAPPY 9th BIRTHDAY, LEVI!
