SENIORITIS

This girl is very ready to be done with school. As preparations are beginning for graduation, the countdown is on. I am feeling the need to enjoy every moment because I know everything will be changing very soon.

The memories of dance recitals, softball games and slumber parties fill my mind. The days when Polly Pockets scattered the floor and girls giggling echoed through out the house. The dress up box was full to the brim with Ariel, Jasmine, and Cinderella and the shoes were three sizes too big. The pretend world of endless tea parties with cute little dresses and hats, some of which were mother/daughter matching. The summers swimming, the winters reading and all the shopping in between are now days gone by. I know there will be new memories made now on a different level, so I love the sweetness of those precious times.
