The Race...

Wow! It was so much fun. I did it with my awesome daughter Cassidy and she did great. It was her first race and although she forgot her gym shoes at school and had to run in Vans, she finished. I was so proud of her. The finish line was the 42 yard line at ASU and as the runners were completing the race, it was displayed on the jumbo screen. I asked her if she would do it again and she said NO. I am working on her for the Irongirl in December. I know she will have joy in her accomplishment.

I highly recommend this race to those of you with kids. They had a ton of activities for them and I was so sad I did not bring Levi. He would have loved it and I know he could have done the kids race if not the adults. The atmosphere was very kid friendly and race seemed easy for 4.2 miles. I am very sad though because I lost my camera on the way to the race and will have no pictures to post until we can buy a new one:-(
