Food Network...

Scott and I love to watch the Food Network. I would love to make the cakes on "Ace of Cakes" and he would love to compete with the "Iron Chefs" When were watching this weekend, we both were inspired.

Off to the store I went to get our supplies for Chicken Cacciatorie with Basil and Garlic Polenta. Sounds impressive, huh? The recipe says it was of medium difficulty and a four star user rating.

It turned out very yummy and took about two hours from start to finish. We actually fire roasted the bell peppers and then peeled them. The fun part was chopping, sauteing and just being with my honey. It is a very spicy dish with a lot of flavor (the dish, not my honey). To find this recipe go to

I commented on this before anything was printed. It only said "Food Network" with nothing else! Thought maybe something might have been forgotten! Anyway, that sounds really fun to do as a husband-wife team! My favorite FN show is Grillin with Bobby Flay! That boy will grill anything! :-)
