Every year at school when it is time for Grandparents Day, Levi is so sad. This year he came home and said, "I know my friends will have their grandparents and I won't, so will you come?" He had tears in his eyes and was trying not to be sad.
I fell for it! I called them and asked them to come and surprise him for Grandparents Day. Grandma flew in and Grandpa drove from Wyoming (he is going hunting with Scott this week) and Levi was so surprised! It made him feel very special to have them there and to introduce them to his friends.
They ate lunch together in the cafeteria and then he showed them what he does at recess. They were able to meet his teacher and see his classroom. It has been a very fun week for Levi and his grandparents. They are trying to spend one on one time with each of the kids and Grandma is a photo-hound!!
