Welcome to the newest member of Kohls. She has officially left the food world to make her mark in the fashion retail industry. I am not sure how much money she will truly make as her love of clothes and desire to have a bargain have now collided. She is making headway into the corporate business world and was broken in very fast. She had to work the Jerry Lewis Telethon for free. Talk about your community service projects. All day in a studio, with stars she did not recognize but knew they were famous by the way they were treated, answering phones under hot lights on t.v. while not getting paid. All on her first day of work. It was a great experience for her, even if she has never watched one of those telethons a day in her life.
We went shopping yesterday and I am proud to say, I have now begun to reap the benefits of using my daughter for a full fledged discount. I purchased a new pair of athletic shoes (which I desperately needed) that were on sale, three shirts (two for her, one for me) + her 15% discount + a printed $5 coupon, for a grand total of....wait for it...$57 buckeroos! To top it off, we receive $10 in Kohls cash in return just for spending $50 to begin with. She pocketed that and I have no doubt it will be used and she will look quite cute in church this weekend!
If you happen to run into her say hello, if you happen to run into me, ask for coupons:)
