RMCC GRADUATION

The youth group had a celebration promoting the current Seniors. It was a dinner and each senior decorated a table describing their interests. The senior leaders presented each of them with character awards, Cassidy was given 'Generosity' as her award. It describes her to a tee. There were about 45 girls and guys that attended, and the families were invited to support them.

The thing I see in this senior class is their heart for God. With the high school pastor, Mark, they have truly been infused with a mission mentality. What started as a youth group that was centered on fun, turned into one that seeks to serve. Whether in an old seniors yard work project, a homeless shelter, or even a family in the youth group that needs help, they were there to serve. I saw a car wash organized without adult leadership to raise money for a church family, encouragement to those who were not 'popular' in order to help them feel accepted and even kind words when feelings were hurt. There was a lot of growth inside friendships that have been developed over the years, some I know will be lifelong friends.

I am so happy Cassidy has received a wonderful foundation that has taught her how to be part of the body of Christ, to push her to the next level in her relationship with God.
