Spring Time

Wow! Nothing better than taking a seven year old and two of his friends to the park!! My favorite phrase was "Watch this guys, I used to do this when I was a little kid!" Isn't that great? Through the eyes of a child comes a new wonder in every area!!

Playing baseball in the park in February when it is 85 degrees is the best kind of day. You feel the sun shining and the kids laughing as they run and hit the balls. The act of chasing each other as you try to make it to base when your playing tag--very exciting. It makes me think of Song of Solomon when he says "For now winter has passed; the rain has ended and gone away. The blossoms appear in the countryside. The time of singing has come, and the turtledove's cooing is heard in the land, the blossoming vines give off their fragrance."


Yes, the Lord is good.
